About Laura Siffrin
Hello, my name is Laura and welcome to my gallery! I am an Artist currently based out of Portland Oregon. I studied art and social sciences at Portland State University.
I gain much of my inspiration from nature, the people I meet and traveling. I feel a deep connection to the ocean and wildlife. Throughout my life they all have been a source of healing and inspiration to me. I enjoy working with textures and colors that are often bright and vibrant. I believe within each brushstroke is captured feelings and an allure to the subject. Life is full of colors and experiences. I believe art is a window that lets us visually enter a world that is full of hope, love and beauty. The art we choose to surround ourselves with allows us to live a more inspired life. I am so glad you are here!
Style
My work is influenced by the colors and textures of nature, as well as the emotions and experiences that we all share. Throughout life nature has been an inspiration to me, a place to visit and embrace its healing and clarity. I create art to bring a sense of inspiration, a feeling of joy or the reminder of the strength deep inside.
Process
I believe art is more than something meant to just view, I believe art is something that transforms how we see. Texure, medium and emotions come together to transform something imagined into something to be experienced. Each piece I create has a story.

Is the artwork you saw and want sold? Or do you have a few pieces you like and can’t decide? I can create a custom piece for you and make it something personal and meaningful to you based from the artworks of mine you love.
Commissions can also be designed for your space for you or inspired from reference photos. All custom artwork is available in multiple sizes (small, medium or large). After we discus your preferences, timeframe and price point I will work with you to design your custom artwork. Once a 50% downpayment is received I will begin on your piece. If I have a wait list I will provide the timeline for your artwork to be started and completed. Once started I will stay in touch to provide updates as the piece progresses. Once completed and remaining balance is received, I will verify shipping information and provide the tracking number.
